Now 15-7, 7-1 in League. Starting to blow teams out.

All major contributors are Frosh and Soph sans Lindsey.

This team could be very potent in the next two years.

Very potent if the coach doesn't cause more defections.

Junior Jacquie Seawright has also been a major contributor, especially lately.

The only weakness of this team, other than lack of experience,is that only Hope Foster is taller than 6'0". When she gets in foul trouble, they have no size at all on the floow

Too bad they get very little fan support. I watched the video (SportsJuice) of the HC game that immediately followed the sold out mens' game. The place was empty. I think the school should schedule the women 1st when they have doubleheaders, and include both in the admission price (jack up the price if necessary). That way there will be a sizeable audience for the end of the women, and some of them may come back. Even if they don't comeback, the women will have some support at the end of games.

BTW, in that HC game they came from way back-- and still were down 8 under a minute--to force OT.

Some women's games are played before the men's game, but this doesn't help since the women's game usually ends about 75 minutes before the men's game starts. To assure that the men's game starts on time (and with the TV/radio coverage the Bison now get, this is a consideration), they have to allow adequate time for a long women's game with perhaps an OT and then have at least 40 minutes between games for warm-up and intros. Thus there is no attendance carryover.

As far as the tickets go, I have season tickets and they are good for all women's games also (same ticket). I have to believe that regular tickets are good for both games as well, since they don't clear out the arena between games. Anyone with a ticket for one game can stay for the other.

BTW, the attendance for the second half of the women's Navy game was a bit larger, probably just over 500, which is not nearly big enough but is an improvement. If the Bison host one half of the women's tournament, I hope that there is a good turnout for that.

Thanks for that info 137. Hopefully people will start to show. A "crowd" of 500 for the PL Tourney would be an embarrassment. This team is going to have a run lasting at least two more years, so hopefully they catch on.
