Well, at least the turnover count against Holy Cross was 8, well below recent years.

Hoping Lewis is back. I would like to see rotation where Lewis and Baker are not on court at same time. Feels like things get too stagnant with that combo.

Really hoping Kirkwood can be used to post up inside. With his terrific passing ability, I think the inside out game could be very effective. They called a post-up play for him several times last year in the game at Brown (using a not so difficult to figure out play name), and he can pass effectively or drive to the hoop from a much closer position (as long as he can avoid using his arm to get around the defender). Need him to be involved in flow of the offense and not just rely on Aiken to break down the defense on each possession. As good as he has been, I don’t think we have seen anything like we will from him over the next 3 years.

Just arriving in Orlando. Need a good performance in this 3 game swing to get things back on track while we hope for Seth’s return in the next two months.

Maryland/Temple in the next round, and then final game would be one of USC/Fairfield/Davidson/Ma rquette

84, fresh stone crab in Everglades City passed the test!
Got to watch Pitt beat Kansas State in Fort Myers despite shooting 1-16 on 3’s and registering only 2 assists.
Ready to watch Harvard vs Texas A&M.
Unexpected guests from Japan may interfere with my planned jaunt to Orlando.

Enjoy the tournament!

Pitt and Harvard... if you throw in UF, you’ve hit the mrjames trifecta!

Really?
I knew about Harvard.
Pitt son and Harvard son dispute which squad is better.
No connection to UF though.

This announcer is horrible:

“If I’m a one and doner, I’m going to Harvard.”

Wut?

He makes a good point, and it was broader about any Ivy. It may never happen, but it’s certainly been really close to happening.

He is brutal indeed but tough game to be a commentator. Very good Defense but brutal offense by both teams particularly Texas A&M. Buzz Williams has a lot of work in front of him. Hopefully, Crimson get some offensive flow in 2nd half.

IL basketball is starting to look like Power 5 basketball - great D but NBA looking offensive style.

I'm out of the country, so I missed the game, but judging by the box score it looks like both teams played/shot equally poorly with the difference being that we were 22-22 at the line and they were 14-23. Any more to it than that?

Can't complain about winning a game where Bryce was just 1-9 on threes. We're on to Maryland.

Nice win by Harvard (who cares about style points when you get the win) to get tough Maryland matchup next. Good stuff.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Great defensive effort. Great test tomorrow against Maryland. What a game by Bassey and Bob on the boards. Noah found ways to contribute even though he was off and Bryce made his FTs.
