All, I haven't followed the season progress of the other Ivy teams very closely. My (vague) impression is that Harvard is incredibly talented but just playing OK, and Yale was predicted to have a big drop-off but is performing better than expected. Meanwhile, Penn has shown that it can be as good as anyone, and as bad too. The major questions for the Quakers seem to be injuries, defense, and consistency for Ivy double-headers. They can't afford to lose to non-HY's on back-to-back road trips and still expect win the regular Ivy season.

So... what are your predictions for. the Ivy regular season winner and the Quakers' conference record? Ivy tournament winner?

I will now take Yale to win. Wild shot at records:

Yale 12-2
Harvard 11-3
Penn 10-4
Dartmouth 6-8
Princeton 5-9
Columbia 5-9
Brown 4-10
Cornell 3-11

I think the top 3 could go any direction. I think all of the remaining teams but Cornell are pretty even for the 4th spot. Kind of like the idea of Dartmouth sneaking in.

This seems, on the whole, rather reasonable.

I do think Dartmouth will surprise. I'd probably have Columbia finishing with fewer than 5 wins and Princeton with more than 5.

Totally fair. Princeton could figure it out. They are much younger than everyone else, with 2 freshmen and 2 Sophs starting. Seems like they have more talent than their performance, so they may catch up as they gain experience.

T-Rank's WinMatrix and Conference Title Odds gives a pretty good glimpse at projections for the league race here: http://barttorvik.com/conodds.php?conf=Ivy

Yale, Penn and Harvard are all well above 90% odds to make the top 4 unsurprisingly. Think 10+ games is realistic for all 3.

After that, it's pretty murky. Agree with above that Princeton's youth could put it together to get the #4 spot, but the youth has also lead to some really inconsistent play that could cost them in close league games.
