Three quick buckets for Knight, a 3 for Samuels and a pretty Eurostep for Rai. Dartmouth leads 11-5 at first media timeout.

Ooooh. Two fouls for Vermont's star, Anthony Lamb. He sits. Dartmouth leads 19-13 following a Sistare three-pointer!

Signs of trouble. Sloppy passing leads to 5th Dartmouth turnover. Lamb, back in, scores easily.
Dartmouth's lead is two.

Vermont is a strong team. Ties the game at 21 on a four-point play. Under 8 timeout. Dartmouth's free throw shooting is underwhelming.
Dartmouth offense looks fluid, and Rai+help has done a good job limiting Lamb on defense.

Sistare seems to have found his shot. He hits a badly needed 3 (his second of the game), cuts Vermont's lead to 28-26 with 5:42 to go in the first half.
Lamb may be the best player Dartmouth has seen this year.

40-40 at the Half 01-02-20 08:48 PM - Post#295798
In response to Greenhorn
Great crowd sees Dartmouth shoot 61% in the first half, but only a sister-kisser to show for its efforts because of 8 turnovers.
Rai leads the way with 12, and some excellent defense on Anthony Lamb. Sistare having his best game in a while has 10.
Stef Smith, Vermont's super quick point guard, has 13 for the Catamounts.

1:22 to go. Vermont by four at 70-66. Catamount ball
Chris Knight struggling from the line or Dartmouth might be in front

Final
Vt 77
Dartmouth 68
was a one-possession game throughout. Dartmouth shot the ball very very well from the field, but missed free throws and turnovers cost them the game. Rai was great on both ends. 18 points and held Lamb to 10.
Stef Smith exploded for 30 for the catamounts.
Won't get easier with two against Harvard.

I'm not happy about the final score but I am pleased to know we can get 40 in a half. If not for a couple missteps this was winnable.
