Sophomore Jaelin Llewellyn honored as Ivy POW for his outstanding double double performance leading the Tigers to an upset 14 point win over Penn at The Palestra. His 18 points and a career high 14 rebounds shows why Henderson was so high on him when he brought him in. He also played all but 18 seconds!!!

2018-19 Llewellyn: 20 games, 45/112 (40%) at the rim, 1.85 FTA per game on 57% FT shooting

2019-20 Llewellyn: 13 games, 44/81 (54%) at the rim, 4.69 FTA per game on 74% FT shooting

He's been much more aggressive going towards the rim this season and not shying away from contact, which you have to think is a result of having a whole summer to get healthy and regain his explosiveness. Even then it still feels like he has so many layups that just barely roll out. Dunks like the one he had in the 2nd half at Penn really show off his explosiveness going to the hoop, and his FT shooting has improved a ton this season. If the 3pt shot bumps up just a little bit he'll be an incredibly tough guard for anyone in the league, but even as it is he's really fun to watch.

Also just a fun note, Evbuomwan is 20/29 (69%) at the rim this season, putting him at 5th in the Ivy behind Baker (79%), Brumant (74%), Atkinson (69.6%) and Warren (69.4%).

Llewellyn has looked much better this year for sure, peaking in the last game. Having Schwieger on the wing has let him be a bit more selective while still being aggressive on his drives. Plus his finishes and passing decisions look more decisive. His D has been solid, and the aggressive rebounding last game was encouraging to see.

Evboumwan has been a very pleasant surprise. Skills, judgment, and energy level with good height and length. He could grow into an important player for the program.

Jaelin has an abundance of athletic ability and BB skill sets. It has taken him a little longer than I thought as to his skill sets translating into performance results. It will be interesting if he can continue to raise his game over the remainder of this year as well as his junior and senior years.

Jaelin, Arirguzoh and Dingle appeared to be the most athletic players on the court last weekend. Brodeur and Schwieger have different type of skills but they certainly get results by utilizing their unique skills.

Princeton's frosh has a significant upside as you point out but it will probably take some time to develop.
