Just finished watching a video of Bill Walton talking about Pete Maravich. Under what are now ancient rules, Maravich broke Oscar Robertson's record by averaging 44.2 per game during his college career. More impressively, Walton said former LSU coach Dale Brown took the films of every college game Maravich had played in, and using the new rules (e.g. the 3 pt. shot), recalculated what Maravich would have averaged per game using them. The answer is astounding: 57 points per game!
