Pretty fair assessment. Defensively the loss of Okolie and Cambridge has impacted the perimeter D a lot. That was a calling card last year.
Biggest opportunity seems to be Choh. I’ve said this before but he’s asked to do a lot. He handles the ball a ton, which plays to an advantage that Brown has - using his quickness and ball handling that you don’t see much in the frontcourt. That’s put him in spots where he’s going to lose it some and be in position to take more shots he has to create for himself. It’s led to an understandably high TO rate, and a less-understandable low FG pct. (Offset by a great assist rate.) But nobody really creates for him, and most of his shots are of the contested variety. One of those two things needs to improve.
And how about getting Hunsaker to the line more? Not sure if that technology exists. But he’s the number one FT shooter in the nation, and as we saw vs. URI, that’s a guy who benefits from seeing the ball go in the hoop.
