Schwieger took home player of the week honors after his 16 point, 4 assist night against Penn. It's clear Schwieger was sorely missed in the beginning of the season, as his offense takes a lot of pressure off of JL and RA. He's averaging 13.6 PPG this season, 14.8 if you take out the Duquesne game and his 2 points in just 6 minutes. I was most impressed with his shooting on Friday night. He was confident and comfortable on the perimeter as Penn's game plan was to not let him post up, and hit some tough contested 3s in the first half.
Evbuomwan beat out Dingle for the honors this week, and his ability to stuff the stat sheet (6 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block, 1 steal in 13 minutes) was really impressive. He's shown a lot of really strong signs on both ends, and it'll be fun to see him continue to contribute as he develops this year
