There are only 10 games left in the regular IVY season. This should rank among the better classes all-time in the Ivy League. Hence, enjoy the rest of the season with these players.

Penn: Brodeur, Goodman, Betley, Jerome, & Kuba
Harvard: Towns, Aiken, Lewis, Bassey, Juzang, Baker, & Welsh
Yale: Bruner, Williams, Monroe
Princeton: Aririguzoh, Gladson, & Morales
Brown: Anderson, Hunsaker, & Howard
Columbia: Smith, Tape, Killingsworth
Dartmouth: Sistare, Foye, Carter, & Barry
Cornell: Warren, McCarty, Gear, & Mack

Here is my all-Ivy senior roster and rotation assuming all the players are healthy.

Who would make the roster:

Brodeur, Goodman, Betley, Towns, Aiken, Lewis, Bassey, Juzang, Baker, Bruner, Monroe, Aririguzoh, Gladson, Anderson, Hunsaker, Smith, Tape, & Foye

Traveling team:

Starters:
Brodeur, Aiken, Towns, Lewis, & Bassey

Bench:
Rotation players:
Goodman, Bruner, Aririguzoh, Betley, & Smith
Reserves:
Juzang, Baker, Tape, & Monroe

Many of these players have been key for 4 years. It will be strange to see them go.

Unfortunately, I’d take the following lineup over any other:
Towns, Aiken, Tape, Barry & Stefanini.

Isn't Stefanini a junior? Further, there is nothing unfortunate about your list. This is all opinion.

AJ Brodeur would like to have a word with you.

I think the reason the list is “unfortunate” is because everyone but Aiken is either out for the year or has left the program.

So we won’t be enjoying anyone on the list this year (except for hopefully Aiken).

Exactly ... although I did not realize that Stefanini was a junior - truly hope he returns at some point. Intended to recognize the talented seniors who aren't expected on the court.

This leads to the interesting question of picks for the Ivy’s 3x3 team at the 3x3 tournament that takes place among seniors at the final four (assuming the event continues this year, which I sincerely hope it will as it’s a very fun watch). Keep in mind only players with no NCAA eligibility left are able to play since money is involved, so guys like Smith, Betley, Towns will not be eligible for selection.

That being said, who do you all think should be picked? I think AJ is a lock. From there, you need a couple guards - and Smith won’t be an option - so maybe Anderson and Goodman (although they’re both a little small). I think Bassey could be a good fit as a do everything type player. Obviously love Aririguzoh but not sure you need him and Brodeur on the team (although with AJ’s excellent passing I could talk myself into it somehow working, and other conferences have sent 2 bigs in the past years)

The previous Ivy teams were Morgan/Stephens/Okolie/Re ynolds, and Bell/Wright/Foreman/Wood

Bruner
Bassey/Anderson

That's my team

Yes, if healthy absolutely Aiken will be a lock. Just not sure about his health given I don’t believe he even traveled this weekend. Bruner should have another year of NCAA eligibility no? Missed his whole sophomore year with injury

Brandon Anderson
Richmond Aririguzoh
Robert Baker
AJ Brodeur
James Foye

Bassey would be a great player in this format. Tenacious on ball defender, reasonable 3 pt shooter, great rebounder. He should be on this list.

Aj
Bryce
and 2 others who can shoot it.

Bassey would be a great player as he can defend.
Baker would be intriguing as well.
Foye may be a dark horse.

I love AJ. but am skeptical about his suitability for the 3x3 tournament. This is a format that puts a huge premium on perimeter shooting (much more so than 'real' basketball), and that's just not AJs game.

I think as long as there’s shooters around him, AJ’s passing makes him ideal for this format. The Ivy teams have succeeded in this event in the past 2 years partially because basically all 8 teams in the league run variations of the same 3-man actions, so they’re all used to the reads and cuts of the 3 on 3 game. I think it’s much more real basketball than you’d think. It’s also why so many Ivy guys (Mavraides, Maddox, Caruso from Princeton for example) end up playing 3 on 3 professionally. Most teams in this competition will have a big man, and I doubt many will be much better shooters than AJ, and there probably won’t be any who pass and hit cutters better than him

I agree. AJ is also a great shot blocker and rebounder and he can guard all switches on ball screens so he would be very valuable as long as there are other shooters.

Doesn't really matter now as the event won't happen, but 3X3U did post what the Ivy League team would have been if the event hadn't been postponed/canceled:

AJ Brodeur, Penn
Brandon Anderson, Brown
James Foye, Dartmouth
Richmond Aririguzoh, Princeton

Would've been interesting to see how that group would have worked together

No, they get paid. So no college students with eligibility can play.

What I think is the funniest thing to come out of all of this is the Big3 attempt to have a Quarantined Tournament.

https://sports.yahoo.com/sources-big-3-plans-t o-la...

I can see a pretty good reality show about the players holed up in the Quarantine Hotel, trying to sneak in women and getting caught and thrown out.

To do so Bruner would have had to forfeit his remaining NCAA eligibility since players are paid $1,000 for each win
