Ugly play by the Tigers. They are bombing from outside and missing badly. They have to work for better shots.

Tigers down 13 at the half. Looks like the early season team that couldn’t shoot, defend, or hold onto the ball. Uggh.

This is a horror show. Tigers can’t make a bucket from anywhere and Red can’t miss. Down 18 2 minutes into the 2nd stanza.

Beautiful back door cut from JL, grabs the pass and bounces it off his knee out of bounds. Yikes!

At the other end, Cornell scoring almost at will on post moves and midrange jumpers.

Out hustled. Out coached. Out played. Bad shooting. Bad rebounding. Bad passing. Bad defense. Have to shake this game off and get back to the play that was winning games.

Cornell outplayed us at both ends. Hats off to Brian Earl.
We only came alive when JL attempted to take over the game.

I was afraid this would happen. Brian just knows us/Mitch too well. No matter their record, Cornell always has a good chance against us.
From here on out, the goal is to avoid Yale in a first round Ivy Tourney game. We know we can beat Harvard and Penn, so just give Penn/Harvard a chance to beat Yale on Saturday and we'll take our chances on Sunday.

Just a bad game all around. It happens, not much else to say. Good teams have fewer of them, or are able to overcome their bad games. Just have to rebound hard in NYC tomorrow afternoon

I feel especially bad for RA who has developed from a project his freshman year to a strong all-purpose player who dominated two of the more publicized centers from harvard and Penn in the last two weeks. I wish that he could be around for another couple of years. His work and enthusiasm are good models for the younger players. Sorry for this,Bogey. We’ll always have Pennsylvania.

I'm surprised there is no analytic insight posted by those more attentive than I.
Clearly the defensive effort of Cornell was very high--look at our turnovers.
And ours was lacking, as is evidenced by the Cornell point total.
Several particulars stand out however.
How does Richmond have only one shot in the first half? At some point does Coach not make an adjustment?
Also, Cornell seemed to score at will in the paint. How about a match-up zone to keep Richmond deep in the paint.
Lastly, with the game slipping a way, Coach apparently told Jae-Llew to take over the game on offense, which he did. Once again it became apparent that he can get to the rim, but is not a good interior passer.
