After all the hype for this weekend, to see the Bears go and get beat like that is disappointing to say the least. Hope that Gainey is good to go for tomorrow. Thanks to Yale comeback/Penn choke, Bruno still has a chance to control its fate.

To pack the house on senior weekend and get pounded by more than 20 in a game like this is as bad as it gets.
Does anyone think after the last two games that this is a team that belongs in the tournament?

Princeton was very impressive. Strong inside and outside. Shooters seemingly all over the court. Took the Bear shooters out of the game and controlled their defensive glass against a good offensive rebounding Brown team. Bears scored sub- 50 points for second game in a row. But, as stated above, Brown controls it’s own destiny with a victory tomorrow night. I’d like to think we’re due for a good effort on our home court.
Go Bears!!!!

I still think this is a very solid team defensively.
But the offense is terrible. Safe to say other Ivy teams have at this point keyed into high post dribble handoff.

The Bears need more pure shooters and scorers. And as much has Gainey has improved this year, I don’t know that he’ll ever have the back to the basket and up and under moves the Princeton big had last night. Transfer Meren and recruit Taylor may be the injection of shooting needed. We’ll see. But a big who can bang inside with skills and perhaps also shoot from 15 feet such as Cedric K would be a much needed compliment to Gainey and Choh. Martin evidently does a good job of masking our O deficiencies. Look what we did against URI. But league opponents are tough to surprise. The Bears have had some really good guards and forwards over the years. But higher grade 6-9 Bigs have been rare. Martin needs one to help take the program a leap forward.

In the unlikely event that Brown makes #4 for the Tournament, I am with you ALL THE WAY! You have the power to end this stupid experiment for a “1 bid†conference.
