So assuming the tournament resumes next year, does Princeton get it as planned or does it get pushed back a year and Harvard gets it?

Let's just keep it at the Palestra.
Hey, if Tommy's in favor, how could you say no?

If it is so unimportant that they would cancel it as opposed to all other sports which continue, why have it at all?

Assuming that they resume the lunacy next year which I anticipate, Harvard should get the site vs. Princeton and all other sites get pushed back one year.
But you never know with Robin and the crew. If everything gets back to normal next year, post-virus, perhaps she will rent a 1,800 person mothballed cruise line boat and stick it somewhere between Boston and the NJ Shore at a deeply discounted price.
In fairness, I do think that they made the right decision considering the current situation in Boston. whether one would be a fan or non-fan of IvyMadness as health matters most. I do feel for Richmond, Jose, AJ, Dev etc of the senior IL class.

How can they allow all other sports to continue? You can play without fans. Are the players not supposed to work out at the gym?

Not for nothing, but the petition to reinstate the ILTs garnered 3,000 supporters in about two hours.

Reinstating the tournament for this weekend? Slim to none.
Crushing any foolish ideas to permanently disband the tournament? Now we're talking.

That's more than the number of individuals in the entire US who have actually been tested, to date, for the virus.
