4 pro games under her belt and it is obviously a big adjustment but she is getting more minutes with each game and she leads the team in + when she is on the floor despite somewhat limited minutes.

1st game, she received only 3 minutes but last two games, she received 22 and 16 minutes with some of the minutes coming from the former UConn star player Samuelson during crunch time.

Announcers have described the upside of Bella's game based on multi-dimensional skills. She will be a work-in-progress but it appears that she will be a player as she gains experience. Should give IL women's basketball some good press.

Bella had by far her most impactful game of her young professional career tonight against the Chicago Sky, playing 30 minutes off the bench and was a major part of the Wings' bench-led effort, as 3 of Dallas's starters played a combined 24 minutes of action.

Bella scored just 4 points but had 9 rebounds, including 3 offensive, and 4 blocks. ESPN commentators were very impressed with her defensive positioning and timing all night, and it definitely looks like she is gaining more trust from the coaching staff as her minutes continue to increase

Here's a huge block in crunch time she had tonight: https://twitter.com/DallasWings/status/12 907992554...

From watching a few of her games early, this move seems to be her most effective move offensively: https://twitter.com/DallasWings/status/12 907743693...

It happens several times a game where she gets swung the ball at the top of the key and her defender is forced to rotate late at her. A lot of time she's been able to drive right past her slower defender and score, which will make her such a tough matchup in the WNBA

Bella's minutes have been somewhat reduced and it has nothing to do with her play on the defensive end and rebounding. The issue has been her offensive game and a poor shooting percentage, 33%, with limited shots. When she played on the Pan Am team, her defense was also the strength as she can effectively play defense as a C or PF.

Her offense is more geared as a #3 not a post up C or PF. She is going to have to figure it out as well as the coaching staff -- she always struck me as a Larry Bird type of playing style but her outside shooting needs to improve.

She is heading off to play in Turkey after the WNBA season and she will probably focus on her offensive game. In the Ivies, she could get away with being a quasi C based on her height and physical skills but not in the WNBA.

I suspect that she will figure it out on the offensive end but her defense will continue to give her minutes.
