And so it continues:
After getting the support from Coach Amaker and the coaching staff Ive decided to enter the transfer portal to explore options for an extra year following my graduation from Harvard.
I want to thank coach Amaker and the entire Harvard community for their support.

Question: I'm assuming that if play starts in January that students can decide not to transfer and play. Is that correct?

From the NCAA website:
If student-athletes withdraw from the portal, the original school can return them to the roster and restore athletics aid if it chooses.

Seems that all Ivy seniors who wish to play again in the future need to either sit the year out or enter the portal. Why wouldn't they?

Does this signal there will be no ivy season? Can danillo and Haskett still play if the team plays?

I believe if there is a 2020-21 season the answer is yes. Otherwise they would go elsewhere next year if they are attending school this year.
