Wow! Looks like two pretty gets for the future here recently. With Maddy St. Rose and now Margo Mattes it's looking like Coach Berube is quickly silencing any doubters about her ability to recruit.

WBB team has offered 5'11" forward Katy Eidle from the Chicago area. From her Twitter she's received offers from quite a few power conference teams in the Midwest, and Prep Girls Hoops has her as the #45 recruit in the 2023 class.

Riley Weiss, 2023 SG from Long Island, averaging 40 ppg with several Ivy and P5 offers in hand.
Lax teams have offered sophs for many years, I did not realize this was also now commonplace for hoops and assume this also applies to MBB?

Coach Berube has an outstanding ability to coach players up especially on the defensive end. It would be helpful if she can recruit a talented 6'3" or so player to really set up the Tigers over the next few years.
The Tiger's women's' program is in very good hands. The same is true regarding UNC with Banghart.

Have Eidle and Weiss committed or just been given offers? There's a big difference. Unless I missed it, I haven't seen anything for sure one way or the other. Nice to see Berube be able to go after some potentially big fish though. There is some size in the current Freshman group and coming in the future. Plus Emsbo will be back. The key is if they can develop enough to be an adequate asset to the rest of cast.

I'm pretty sure the League has banned offers in lacrosse for pre-juniors, and I thought same applied to other sports?

Looks like a fairly impressive incoming class this Fall. Answers the size question marks. Of course it all depends on how well they adjust to the college game and how much they can improve. Either way, I think the questions as to whether Coach Berube can recruit or not should be answered for the time being. Especially with what else is on the way or potentially on the way.
It looks as though Paige Morton deferred a year as she was initially listed as a member of the class of 2024.
