It gets better...According to Birdsong on Bison Live last night, the game is now also airing now on the Scranton affiliate of regular old Fox. I find that hard to believe. If I am not mistaken, American Idol airs from 8-10 on Wednesday nights on Fox. I am all for Bucknell being on TV, but if the powers at Fox really think Bucknell is going to draw better ratings than American Idol, they have another thing coming...Then again, Birdsong could've been wrong.

Ratings do nothing for you unless you keep winning.

No doubt, ratings & winning go hand-in-hand. My point, however, was to highlight the critical mass effect our recent success has generated. When was the last time a PL team's loss resulted in INCREASED TV coverage?

I'm so excited for next year (with, hopefully, THREE strong PL teams) I can hardly wait.

BIG game tomorrow, Bison. Put Lehigh away!

Go Bison!

Is the FCS-Atlantic broadcast airing live? I know that the Lehigh home games have been shown on FCS-A, but on tape-delay and aired 2 days later.

I would imagine that American (with no seniors this year) will be the 3rd ranked PL school at the start of next year. With Lehigh losing three starters, including Joe Knight, they will need a couple of their incoming freshmen to play really well and will need one of their two centers to take a huge step up, or they will fall to fourth or fifth. Of course if the pieces do fall into place, maybe the league can have four strong teams.

I live in NYC and have FCSA on Time Warner...and when I go to the menu for tonight...it does not list the game? Do you think this is just a case of it being a late addition. OR is it only on FCSA in certain markets. I wasn't sure if that channel was capable of dividing markets.

I live in Ithaca, NY and have Time Warner as well and I'm not seeing it either. I think I may have to drive down.

I think it isn't listed because it was a late-addition.

This is what the Lehigh release says:

"Lehigh returns to action on Wednesday evening when the Mountain Hawks travel to Lewisburg for the highly anticipated matchup with No. 24 Bucknell. Tip-off is set for 7:00 and the game will be televised live on WFMZ, as well as FCS Atlantic with Steve Degler and Nathan Jameson on the call. "

I'm hoping that it is because it is a late addition--I just subscribed to the package that includes FCS, and if I don't get the game I'll be unsubscribing real soon.
