Morehouse, MIT and Babson? A Div II and 2 Div III opponents? How about adding an NAIA and Juco?

Seems designed for a squad that has been off for quite some time. Hope to scrape off the rust before Kansas on Dec 29th.

The Morehouse game is part of Coach TA's commitment to play HBCU's. The MIT game is an annual Cambridge tradition. Can't speak to Babson, though this is a local team in the Boston area.

Don't think this is a sinister plot to pad the schedule with creampuffs, more an effort to honor commitments to MIT and HBCU's, and to play another in-city team. As I recall, often non-D1 games aren't even included in the team's official D1 season record.

I don't think I was suggesting any kind of conspiracy. But I frankly cannot recall if any Ivy school has scheduled 3 non-Division 1 opponents in the modern era.

No joke: Looking at the pandemic charts, perhaps Kansas should play at Levities. Does Harvard want to play in denial territory in a spreader event with 16,000 candidates?

FWIW, Babson has an assistant coach who was a former Harvard player.

I would expect that Harvard is taking safety precautions into account. With the exception of Kansas, every locale can be reached by private bus, thereby maintaning a 'bubble' of sorts. Also, I wonder if some schools don't want to schedule Ivy teams being cautious about our pulling out [if/when] the pandemic heats up. If I were developing a schedule in this environment I would certainly be focused on feasibility and safety.

As an afterthought, there is the notion of starting slow as Amaker evaluates his two freshman classes and experiments as he is wont to do OOC.

I think every coach is gonna have to a little Amaker style in the OOC. With 2 years of recruits and no experience, it's gonna be some interesting rotations in the early going for these teams. A lot more to figure out than usual.
