Since another thread argued over the relative strength/weakness of the League this year, I thought I'd look at all the team's non-League games and see which winnable games were lost and what were the worst losses League team's suffered this year. It's an impressive list. Had the Ivy teams won these games, and I think most would agree they should have, the League would probably be two three or more spots higher if every other factor stayed the same. So in no particular order... On the road: #256 Hartford 73 Cornell 71 #267 SMU 76 Harvard 55 #293 Colgate 62 Princeton 39
On a neutral court: #298 James Madison 79 Yale 69
On their home court: #293 Colgate 65 Dartmouth 64 (2OT) #297 Stony Brook 51 Dartmouth 48 #320 Md.-East. Shore 59 Brown 57 #289 Navy 73 Brown 64 #328 Army 67 Columbia 66 #270 Quinnipiac 55 Cornell 45 #231 Wagner 73 Yale 69 #246 Lafayette 57 Princeton 46

That one doesn't change the RPI.

How about Penn-Fordham and Wagner-Columbia? I'm too lazy to do the RPI research, but they are both ugly losses.

Wagner is now #229 but I didn't count them because that's like city game for Columbia even though I did count them for Yale. Fordham at #170, is still an A-10 team, the game was at Fordham and they're 60 spots higher than the highest team on this list. Not comparable.
