No-one here?
You guys were down 16 with a little more than 6 minutes to go.
It's now tied.

Goes to OT.
Poor last play setup by Binghamton.

We outscore Binghampton 32-8 over the last 11 minutes (6 in regulation and 5 in OT) to end a 15 game losing streak and win 85-77.
After playing poorly for the most of the first 30 plus minutes, we displayed some quickness and bounce to go on a 16-0 run to tie the game. There's some talent here; it's just a question of how fast they can put it together.

Almost all of the points came from first and second year players (all of whom are playing their first year of college ball). Engles got an eyeful of where the talent lies on this team. Two of the leading scorers are true freshmen. We have some talent on this team.

Very exciting overtime comeback win by our young Lions! Freshman guard Rubio de la Rosa did a great job of leading Columbia back late in the game. His fellow Texan, Noah Robledo, showed how talented he was in the last twenty minutes or so of the game. Forward Josh Odunowo was outstanding and SG Zavian McLeans also played very well. Columbia's came back without any of it bigs other than Odunow on the floor. Yes, this team has some talent, and, of course, will improve significantly as the players become more comfortable playing together. Columbia needs to keep recruiting hard in Texas and North Carolina.

In a post-game interview Engles agreed with Lance that Bolster was a major factor, called him his lucky charm.

I am still pinching myself to make certain that we actually won a men's basketball game in overtime last night. When did that last happen? And credit Coach Engles and the entire Columbia coaching staff for putting the right players on the floor at the right time. Sure, Binghampton is not exactly UNC, or even the top Ivies, but it's a good start back towards respectability.

Down by 16 with 6:19 to go, we had a 1.4% chance of winning. Everyone is young, and we still have no interior defense, but several players began to understand what they can do last night, and that's something to build on.
