Our heroines lead 14-10 at the end of 1. Playing good D and rebounding pretty well, but STF playing a tough man and we're having difficulties against it; Padilla has not been able to get open consistently and the Terriers have a girl who can guard our new power forward Jordan Obi.

BTW, their men's team is currently playing Penn State. So when I first searching for the women's game, I was wondering what was going on until I figured this out.

Playing Penn State somewhat tough, too; within 6 last I heard. Meanwhile, Penn women still up 28-21 at half. Finally got a couple of good looks late in the period and knocked them down, including a three by Nikola Kovacikova, the transfer shooting guard. STF got fouled, inbounded with 0.8 left, and got the ball to their big girl, but she couldn't get the tough layup to fall. If most Ivy gyms are high school gyms, this is a high school practice gym. The one side (not in use tonight) literally has 8 rows of seats and the other about 12 (in two levels! ). You come in straight off the lobby for the entire college, which is basically a half-block's worth of interconnected buildings. The press box is literally a hole that was obviously cut in the wall. Ya gotta love lower-echelon Northeastern basketball.

From what I can see from the halftime feed, all of the spectators (the few that there are) are masked.

St Francis is doing a really good job of drawing fouls. St Francis is down only 9 points, but is shooting 19.5% from the field

45-33 after 3. Starting to run plays to get Padilla open, and she's warming up. Per 20Penn14, STF takes a lot of bad 3's. Our freshman guard Groetsch had a wide open dagger 3 at the buzzer but couldn't get it to go.

50-42 5:38 to go. STF little more effective on offense and we're not making free throws. STF already in bonus again.

Padilla with a ridiculous drive to the hole, then gets fouled and makes one. 61-46 with 40 to go.

Hope Padilla didn't get hurt too badly on that last drive to the hoop.

Padilla didn't look too bad coming off the floor at the end. The Terriers just take too many bad 3's. If Obi hadn't gotten into foul trouble, we may have won by 30. Funniest play of the night was when Kennedy Suttle got an offensive rebound but ended up with her back to the basket and heavily guarded, so she just flipped the ball over her head backwards and it went in. Considerably tougher test on Monday as they take on Villanova; this is where we start to find out how good they really are. Also, glad I went to see the St. Francis gym this year, as they are moving to another campus next year, and aren't keeping the gym.
