The Bulldogs take on the Catamounts tonight. Ray Curren said on Twitter something like "Friday's game should tell us where the Bulldogs are at, which is good, because right now nobody knows," and he's got a point. Yale looked like world-beaters against UMass and Siena and like garbage against Seton Hall.

Vermont returns last year's America East POY in Ryan Davis, who's a heavy load down low. It will be interesting to see how well Yale can defend him.

Yale certainly didn't look like a league favorite
Friday in Burlington. If so, then America East will surpass Ivy League in national rankings. Apparently, there is a price to be paid for taking a year off.

Yeah, not a good ending for Yale in Burlington. Some of it was youth, some of it was a cold night, a very little of it was poor officiating, but the fact remains that the Bulldogs have got a long way to go.

But then, that's what you'd expect from a young team, so we'll just have to see how things proceed.
