I had to look back at the schedule. No idea why we were front end loaded to this degree but there may be some upside.
In the month of December, the men go 17 days between games. This should allow for two things. One is getting healthier. And second, the team can basically have a midseason camp to work on things not working, put in new wrinkles, smooth out the rough spots, and whatever else. The team is making progress (I missed last game) but this could be a big help entering 2022 and the Ivy season.

Right, but will they lose something because they got so outclassed by the end of the stretch? I don't think so, but that's the danger.

Don't know what the issue is with MLL and Wang, but if they are not back with the team, Spinoso will have to grow up very quickly.

We may even see some of Larson, but I'm hopeful we get at ;east MLL back. The Wang thing is likely bad news given all the secrecy.

Nothing would surprise me less than Wang leaving the program.

I have no knowledge of Wang other than the public discussion of his microfracture surgery and a few in person observations
MF surgery benefits dissapate and it goes back to tenderness and then real pain. I know this from due diligence we did on a public company that was supposed to have been superior alternative to MF and from close observation of my friends son who had to retire from Red Sox,had mf surgery, made it to spring training with Cubs and made opening day roster, by july he was out of baseball permanently at 28
I was hoping Mike could last one season with us but not looking promising

I hope that it is not more complicated than giving him additional recovery time before the Ivy season and perhaps preserving two years of graduate school eligibility for him after playing only half a year as a freshman. I was also hoping that Steve would build Bryce’s skills into a major piece of the first or second unit, alternating with Charles. Neither seems likely, I suppose, but time will tell. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
