Considering the number of Penn players out today (including Spinoso who only had a cup of coffee), and Charles being off, the outcome today could easily have been much more along the lines of the Florida State game.

Bad, bad pass attempt by Slajchert trying to force it in close to Mosh in the paint.

Smith hits his first three but his second goes all the way down and then spins out with a chance to cut it to 11.

We trailed FSU by 12 at the half; here it was 11. At one point in the second half FSU was up 41.

Arkansas misses 2 FTs, and foul on rebound puts Mosh st line with chance to cut it to 10.
Makes 1-2. 66-55.

Smith fakes shot, drives baseline, and nice pass to Monroe for foul. Makes 1-2.

Team FT shooting now does appear to be an issue, other than Clark. The early FT shooting seems like it was a mirage in retrospect.

After UA bucket, Slajchert stripped, but Hogs turn it over at other end.

The resilience of this team is something. Maybe that was the takeaway from the Towson game, which was really the only one all season where they quit.

Clark can't finish that one, but it was set up by some nice Penn passing.

Well, given that we didn't have our best player and two others, not bad. Unlike Florida State, this time they looked like they belonged on the same court.

On offense at times, yes.
On defense...I mean, neither FSU nor Arkansas had to work all that hard to get any shot that it wanted. The difference is that at FSU we turned it over a lot due to their pressure, leading to a lot of points. Today, Arkansas at times didn't allow us to bring the ball up without some pressure, but it was nothing like FSU. They could simply pass and move and cut and get the ball in scoring position without having to resort to defensive pressure.
