We look much better today. Turner and Rubio in the backcourt is working for us. Murphy is playing with more confidence; Ellis looks better; and Harding is cleaning up.

77-66 final. DLR with 24 after zero in the last game, Harding with a double-double, 15 pts. and 17 rebounds.

Maine is pretty weak, so we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves, but we won by a wider margin than we were supposed to, so maybe there are some take-aways that will benefit us in upcoming games.

I thought that Turner made a huge difference; he is a true point guard who is a really good athlete and he allows DLR to do more things without the ball. Harding reminds me of Jon Batman when he plays like he did this afternoon. A few observations-we missed a lot of bunnies and free throws. We sometimes are sloppy with the ball. I thought that Ellis is starting to look like he can give us some valuable minutes. So I agree about not getting too excited about this, but we did play a lot better today.

Maine is not a strong team, but the Lions played well enough this afternoon to win and Eddie Turner, "DLR and Patrick Harding had their best games as Columbia Lions. I agree with the positive comments posted by chet and cc66.
