So awesome. A great get for that week. I’m excited to see them play in the Dome.

I believe we played there once before. How’d that one go? (What? Too soon?)

Really nice game for Brown to get and gives them 2 ACC opponents next week with Maryland on the 30th. The Syracuse zone will definitely test the Bears' 3pt shooting

Maryland joined the Big 10 some time ago.

Still a great opportunity for Brown!

Credit to Coach Martin for being so determined to replace the lost game with URI. And a great challenge, at that! I suspect Brown has never had such a strong non-conference schedule. The players must be psyched for the opportunity.

Well, that was nice for about 20 minutes.

Syracuse took advantage of our smaller guards. Not our best defense or rebounding effort.

Syracuse was on and Brown was just not sharp. They looked rusty and like they were thinking their way through the offense. That extended zone Syracuse runs is tough and gave them problems. Even so some of their best plays came breaking that down. 2nd half of the 1st half they looked really good. But we weren’t active defensively and were surprisingly ineffective in the boards, and we were just a step too slow against some great shooters who shot it great.
