Somewhat surprising that the men and women teams have almost identical records along with being 3-0 in the IL -- strong starts. The strength of schedules are so different, #21 and #209. Additionally, the teams are so different as to style of play and skill sets and clearly reflect the philosophy and strengths of the head coaches. It will be interesting to see how the season plays out but the teams have have big challenges awaiting, starting tomorrow.

Certainly, the Tiger men have the additional challenge of probably not having Jaelin available tomorrow. He was definitely missed in the Brown game as he was probably the one Tiger that had the quickness to defend Lilly.

Should be an interesting day of BB and who knows what will be the outcomes.

The little guy is still listed as questionable.

Princeton has won 12 of the last 14 meetings.

Women up 24-9 after one quarter, Penn was scoreless for a seven-minute stretch. No surprise that the defense is strong, but they're also getting whatever they want on the other end.

Cunningham doing a great job guarding Padilla, in addition to leading all scorers with 10 at the half.

Impressive win on the road against a good team with a goad coach. Defense wins -- Great Coaching wins.

Brown announcers stated that the Tigers are one of the top 40 women's team in the country -- might be true but still a long way to go as well as avoiding injuries and COVID.

Wonderful MLK day of BB. Both Tiger teams are now 4-0 and always enjoyable to watch the Quakers go down in defeat.

Both Quaker teams played hard but just not good enough to win.

39 in NET (and will go up a bit after today), 17 in Her Hoop Stats efficiency ratings (which has seemed to overrate teams that win in blowouts historically a bit, but still)

Penn announcers in the women's game were good but seemed a bit surprised as to how well the Tiger's women team plays defensive BB but that all changed after the 1st quarter. The first quarter shutdown by the Tigers going from 10-7 to 24-7 was driven by the defense along with crisp passing.

Padilla is very good but Cunningham and Tigers smothered her.

Yale and especially Columbia will be very challenging but this Tiger's team has some real talent with the future even looking more promising perhaps. Hopefully, some Power 5 team does not grab Berube but they certainly should. I am surprised that there was a step up from Banghart.

And if anyone's interested, that's 30 in a row now.
