Seems to me Lang should be there somewhere. In place of Flato? Otherwise, I would agree.

Certainly a good case can be made for Jeppeson based on Ivy performances alone. Though Ivy games should certainly count for more, non-Ivy performance can't be disregarded, and his non-Ivy stats are poor. Lang's also a worthy candidate; he's the leader of his team, and Flato isn't. Flato's team is three games up in the standings, though.
Others in the mix include Housman and Cusworth (good statistics, but team performance doesn't merit further individual recognition; Housman is more skilled overall than Gore, though, and may well have a better career), Kaplan, and Collins, last year's undeserving first-teamer. Armstrong's recent heroics come a bit too late, though that may change if he keeps it up this weekend.

I could be wrong on this, but I thought that technically only the Ivy games count for All-Ivy. Obviously there's a good chance that the coaches just look at the overall stats while voting, but nonetheless, Jeppesen should be there if it's just about league games.

I can (maybe) see why team record places Cusworth behind Martin, but he should at least be on the second team, ahead of Baumann, based on his superiority on defense (see bocked shots).

I already have Stehle on the first team and Goffredo on the second. To me, it's hard to justify giving 3 out of 10 spots to a team with a 4-8 record. Columbia is also 4-8, but Baumann is their sole representative on the list.In addition, Cusworth's stats are down from last year.
An argument could also be made that Harvard's up-tempo style leads to an increased number of possessions for both teams, thereby artificially inflating individual offensive and defensive stats.

I believe that Cusworth is one of the five players meriting first-team All Ivy, from what I saw in the Palestra last Friday, anyway. He can put down an open three and yes, he'll make his foul shots. He has a soft shooting touch for a seven footer. Furthermore, WXPN-FM reported that NBA scouts were in the building to watch Cusworth. Any NBA scouts been checking out Martin or Jeppesson? I doubt.

Wow, he scored against a player who's 6'7" (at most). If you watched the game in Cambridge, you might not be so sure.
