Who's better relative to the rest of the country?

Princeton women are top 25 in pre-season polls. Yale received some votes. Columbia could be there too.

Don't see a men's team reaching those heights this year.

On a relative basis to the rest of the country, Ivy Women’s basketball for nearly a decade has been closer to the Power 5 + Big East than the Men’s programs. I would expect this year to be no different.

Princeton could be top 10 RPI, Columbia with a good out of conference run could be top 50 – I would expect both to be in the post season – Princeton likely a NCAA bid even if they lose in Ivy Madness.

Harvard and Yale likely in the 100 area, but need to adjust to new coaching. Yale has to contend without a dominant center like Emsbo. Penn should be top 150 as well as they have added front court height but will need contribution from the freshman and sophomores.

Conference RPI

The women have consistently had a top 50 team and multiple top 100 teams. Both of which has been better than the men.
