Men lose their home opener by 19 to Bryant?! They've allowed 88 and 89 points in their first two games. They've got a barn burner against Massachusetts College tomorrow.
The women lost a heartbreaker by 53 to Rhode Island, and take on New Hampshire on Sunday.

In fairness to the men, the game was tight with about five minutes to go before the wheels fell off.
And freshman Brandon Mitchell Day looks like he can really shoot.

Men Win 107-52 v. Cupcake U (actually Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, which I had not heard of until this week). It looks like ESPN had never heard of them either. One note about the men's game. Robert McRae III scored 18 points and Jaren Johnson 9. The two California guards were three star recruits according to Verbal Commits. That's a rarity for the Green (and the league as a whole). But they've not seen meaningful minutes in their careers to this point. No idea why that is, but I am curious.

UNH only had 8 dressed players and had lost by 20 to Siena last week; so, no losing to that team in no way can be seen as progress.
The URI game had one of the worst stat lines I have ever seen in an organized basketball game: Dartmouth had 27 turnovers and 2 assists. And, again, it's not like Dartmouth was playing UCOnn putting up those stats.

Looks like 15 assists and 10 turnovers.
They were not good in this one (and choked away a late lead again). But they were not historically awful.

As I said in the other thread, the end of the Byrant game and the entire URI game were among the worst 41.5 minutes in the history of Dartmouth basketball for either gender.
