Not enough chatter on this board to do separate topics for both games. Game 1 was an early-bird special 79-70 win over Canisius. Cornell took an 11 point lead at the half and maintained that through most of the second half, until the Griffs hit 6 straight 3 pointers and closed the gap to 75-70.

Earl clearly has his 8 man rotation: Guards Dolan, Gray, Williams and Watson off the bench, Manon at wing, and "bigs" Boothby, Hansen, and Ragland. Yesterday, Hansen had 6 points, Watson 8, and everyone else in the rotation scored 10, 11 or 12.

It was a fine win, almost exactly in line with the pre-game prediction, but not on par with Yale's walloping of Vermont.

After a slow start, Cornell got settled in and took over the game late in the first half in the win over Monmouth. Boothby hit a couple of 3’s in a row and the team shot 51% from the field and 40% from the 3-point line. Once again, balanced scoring from the top 8. Shot selection is a little suspect at times but they are fun to watch. Delaware is next and they beat Colgate by 4 today, they will be a good test for Cornell.
