Very solid win or over a pretty good Maine team. Defense and rebounding were great and Lilly was unstoppable. We even made some free throws. Friday was on the bench, but not dressed to play.

Pomeroy thinks Maine is a 300+ team, which would suggest they’re actually pretty bad.

The Bears have been playing really hard, so it was nice to see them grab their second win today. Good sharing of the ball resulted in 16 assists on 25 FG’s. Against only 11 turnovers. In the post game, Martin said he told Lily to be aggressive. The young man certainly stepped up in a big way.

Agree. Really like how Anya has contributed so far. He’s made a difference on the glass and scoring inside.

Re: the quality of Maine, as some on the Penn board have noted, Kenpom takes a little while to work through the data from last season. Erik Haslam has the Black Bears at #275 and Brown at #307. Torvik has the Black Bears at #264 and Brown at #260. All to say, I feel OK about the quality of the win.
