The good news is that we've held Hartford to 20 points in the first half and Wojcik has 12 points on 5-7 shooting. The bad news is that he's the only Bruno player to have made more than two baskets and, as a result, we've only got 25.

Solid second half from the Bears to put away a Hartford team that is in no man's land with an interim coach and no conference in their last season as a D-I program. Bruno led pretty much wire-to-wire and shot 64% from the field in the second half to seal their fourth straight win and put themselves over 500. for the first time this season. Wojcik and Lilly with 30 points and 11 assists between them set the tone. Anya continues to fill up the stat sheet - 12 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal.

Good road win considering two starters still out, and it was sandwiched between two in-state rival games. I sure hope we can improve FT’s by Wednesday when we take on URI in Kingston. That is still a weakness that will cost the Bears dearly in close games. Good effort and energy all around, though. In post game it was mentioned that Martin is using a less structured offense, allowing the players to make decisions as situations dictate. Good ball movement again lead to 19 assists on 26 FG’s. Rhody is rebuilding with a new coach (Archie Miller- late of Indiana & Dayton). It’s a game the Bears have a chance to win if they can play a complete game. Brown has won 4 in a row and 5 of last 6. Beat the Rams and Bears will be flying high heading into a big challenge at Michigan State next Saturday.
