Is that George with the face mask on. Three guys not dressed for the game but no protective gear on the ankles.

No Jordan, Reese or Gus today. Clark is back (obviously). George is back.

On the video broadcast, Vince Curran attributes the absence of Jordan Dingle to "rest" and "load management."

Glad Smith is wearing a mask, that could have been ugly under the boards there.

Why risk him getting injured in this exhibition?
Slajchert & Smith you play a bit to get them game fresh coming off missed time, and the rest of the extended rotation just enough to maintain whatever game sharpness they can get from this.

Oh, I agree with that but the stated rationale is simply not credible.

If Charles can free himself up for these long rangers during IL season, that would be a huge boost.

Nice to see Slachjert finally hit from deep past the top of the key to end the half.

I was going to say it's time to clear the bench, although at this point there may not be a bench to clear.

Watched the replay. While it was good to see the team look good at both ends of the floor, this looked an awful lot like a varsity vs. jv scrimmage.

MLL's alley-oop was the most emphatic I've seen from a Penn player. It brings to mind Krug's vs. Princeton, but it was much further above the rim.
I liked what I saw from Thrower too.

if we're not going to play our best guys in this game, then why is this game being played? We used to criticize Princeton for a D3 game and it was explained to us that this was to knock the rust off before important games. Well we're apparently not using that for our most important player so why do it... and charge money for it?
my issue here is with the administration definitely and possibly the coach for scheduling, not the decision to sit Dingle.

This seems to be a league wide phenomenon, for what it is worth. I believe every Ivy school played at least one of these games, and a number played more than one. Not sure if the issue is finding D1 schools to play is, or what, but it seems to be happening to the entire league.
