The women just won beat Columbia at the Palestra with a fantastic comeback down the stretch. 3-0 in the IL.

Men are up 9 at the half but it feels like they should be up by 15. Sloppy play at times. Lots of guys seeing action so far.

Dingle now tied for 25th in Penn career scoring history with 1,226 points (Dave Wohl), having scored 15 points in the first half.

Make that 23. And Penn is cruising. But Slajchert having a rare bad game offensively.
This will be a very interesting race.

Columbia's not even trying to guard Dingle, really. But it has been a good team game tonight.

Dingle now ties Hankinson in 24th place with a pretty ridiculous move.

Should be a lot of extended bench time in this one.

2nd lane violation on Columbia tonight and could not have been more blatant.

There haven't been many blowout trips to NYC. This one is sweet. What a game.

33 points for Dingle, and he leaves with over 8 minutes to play. Just in another zone tonight.

I think the right description is they are incapable of guarding Dingle. Now if not double teaming him is not trying to guard him, which may be true, then I totally agree.
And these refs are still annoying the hell out of me. Tons of travels and non calls on Columbia.

Officiating has been awful tonight, no question.
MLL just cannot finish, he finally got a hoop but even that one was a real struggle.
Charles needs to play like this in more IL games. His length has helped on defense and he has been on from distance.

Pretty clear that we don't want MLL at the line if it's late in the game.
If Spinoso could cut the turnovers in half, he will be a very good player.

Early to talk about such things, but after 3 games, there are 2 teams that can win the regular season outright simply by winning out: Penn and Princeton.

Something I didn’t really focus on watching the game — Mosh had 9 assists in only 21 minutes.

There was a stretch, I think in the first half, where SD even had him bringing the ball up.

Very nice bounce back win, especially killer game from Jordan (who continues to be just next level).
Sure would be nice if Jonah Charles could provide another scoring option consistently to go with Max Martz in supporting Jordan and Clark. He’s always been so boom/bust, but if he can find some consistency that would be a big benefit the rest of the way.

Dingle's 24.2 PPG is currently second in all of DI.
Hitting an ungodly 57.2% of his 2 pt shots, and now up to 35.8% from 3.

Let’s not overthink this. Penn had a bad shooting night and was beaten by a deeper team on the road. Last night Penn had a great shooting night (at Levien no less) and beat an inferior team. I think we only learned a couple of things this week: Yale isn’t as good as we thought and Princeton may be better than we thought.

On how Columbia guards Dingle, last year they appeared for a moment to have the blueprint for how to guard him. He scored 9 against them in the loss at the Palestra last year, on 3 of 13 shooting. That was followed with similar low scoring outputs against Dartmouth and Princeton. Whatever adjustments Dingle and company made after the Princeton game last year, they worked, and he’s been unbelievably good ever since.

Nice bounce back win after the embarrassing ending to the previous game. Sure makes a different when you hit your threes.
Certainly Saturday is winnable. And then the big test Monday. Princeton looked from what I saw against Cornell.
