Here are a few facts to give some perspective into the team's performance:

1. Here are the basics, as of the date the they faced the Bison, on the four PL teams faced thus far:

- Holy Cross: 1-10 D1 record; ranked 348th in nation (Pomeroy).
- Boston U: 6-7 D1 record; ranked 257th.
- Lehigh: 3-8 D1 record: ranked 328th.
- Lafayette: 2-14 D1 record; ranked 293rd.
- TOTAL: 12-39 D1 record; average ranking of 307th nationally.

2. Bison Strength of Schedule:

- OOC SOS: Currently ranked 327th EXCLUDING LEBANON VALLEY GAME. Would rank close to 350th if that game were included.
- Overall SOS: Currently ranked 352nd; would be lower than that if Lebanon Valley were included.

3. Bison: Overall Ranking:

- Pomeroy ranks Bucknell #271 (was 222nd after NJIT game in early December).
- Massey ranks Bucknell #307 (more emphasis on recent games).
- Sagarin ranks Bucknell #299.

4. Quality of wins and losses:

- Average Strength of Teams the Bison beat = worse than # 300
- Best win = Austin Peay (#226)
- Worst OOC loss - Marist (#327)
