Another mediocre opponent - also winless in the PL. Is this the night the Bison will escape the PL cellar? Or will ND figure out a path to another loss? Andre Screen is listed as a probable starter.

I really can’t believe Bucknell loses this game…even with what I’ve seen so far, there has to be a bottom.

Reminds me of the Posieden Adventure....There's got to be a morning after, if we can make it through this game.

The only certainty is that at the end of the game there will be someone at the bottom.

The excitement and anticipation by the 317 people in attendance tonight is palpable.

Also, the difference between teams during the singing of the national anthem couldn’t be more noticeable. Loyola standing tall, linked together, and focused on the flag while Bucknell, on the other hand, all doing their own thing.

During the introductions, Bucknell appeared to have absolutely no energy. And apparently no interest in being in a game.

Well that was pitiful from both teams.

Maybe Wendy's would pay off ND for not earning frostys?

Not much left to say! The road ahead is going to get tougher!! The best thing that could happen now is if ND would resign tonight!

Whatever plan they had, they executed it badly. Perhaps there is a way to squeak out a win in the next few games, it would do a lot for this team.

Nathan Davis is a fraud who should have been sacked 2 years ago to be kind. I can’t believe he’s still employed at Bucknell. What a travesty. But it’s also clear the administration doesn’t care. Mediocrity or worse seems to be tolerated because athletics aren’t a priority. So be it.

PL record is now 0-5. Sadly you only have to look back to last year to find a worse start. Team began PL play 0-7 last year. By compaison, ND probably thinks this year's league performance is pretty good. Maybe Jermaine Truax does too.

Btw, prior to last year you would have to go back 41 years (1981-82) to find a season where the Bison started 0-5 or worse in league play. Of course that team had a MUCH tougher league schedule, opening ECC play with La Salle, St. Joes, Temple, Hofstra, American, and Drexel. That was when Jaye Andrews was a freshman and Cal Pueriefoy was a soph.

I don't post here often, but I do religiously read the board and I'll agree that apathy is all around. However, I feel like the first group in your post (admin) has caused the apathy of the second (fans). I've given up my season tickets because I can't watch this. I've given up listening to the pregame and post game on the radio because I'm tired of hearing Davis say the same things over and over. I'm about to give up listening on the radio because it's also becoming un-listenable. I guess that makes me apathetic although I had season tickets for double digit years prior. I wrote an email to the administration last season and got a trite reply about how they were working hard to make things better. I guess this, to them, is better. But it sure isn't to me.

The thrill is gone, Cold hearted Truax stop treating us wrong! No energy, no spirit. No fans: The money, lifeblood, shading your eyes to the spirit of competition and the Spirit of Bucknell. Now I fear Bucknell Basketball is tracked like football, with no escape from apathy and mediocrity. Realizing praising the Bison girls and the golden baton twirler and bashing the wigmeister are all luxuries gone from my life, leaving a lifeless basketball team on the floor. I'm am singing (and listening to) the Blues.
