PU only favored by 1. I thought it would be closer to 4. Expect it to move. Over is high at 145 FWIW.

I expect we’ll see a lot more Kellman than other opponents have in recent games. Everyone has been playing big against us so far. And Princeton may be the team best suited to do it.
Should be a fun matchup. My guess is that Tosan will guard Dingle or Slajchert, which will be fascinating. How we guard Tosan will be tricky. I assume it will be Monroe for bigger minutes than usual. Mosh could be next up if Monroe struggles.
Spinoso going at Kellman on the offensive end may be a key.

I expect to see Monroe on Tosan, but what do I know? We may also see more of MLL than usual.
Remarkably, the line has moved from Penn +1 to -1.5. I don't get it. I do like the under at 145 for several reasons though.

I don’t think this is the matchup for MLL. I don’t think he can guard Tosan out in space away from the basket. Maybe he sees time on Kellman, or if O’Connell plays.

Penn keeping it close despite the fact that once again, the guards who are among the nation's leaders, can't even come close to seeing a good shot.

We're definitely forcing more turnovers tonight, and seem to be a bit better on defense in general.

The #1 priority for Spinoso moving forward is to up his FT%. He can be a very useful player but teams will simply foul him in crunch time.

He’s had stretches in the past. Even this year, he has had games with very very poor handles, that’s probably the biggest Achilles heel he has on offense.

Typical terrible last shot for Penn. I don't remember the last time Penn executed a really good last shot of the half.
Do we even have a single 3?

On the other hand, we're playing better defense, with Princeton only on pace for 50, and given that they outheight us by a fair bit, we're doing well on the d-boards. Dingle considerably outjumped someone he's giving four inches to on one play. Streamers was right on the O/U; we'll be lucky to get to 110 at this rate.

This really is a must game, given what is going on in the League. We're lucky to be up 1 in a game where our offense is somewhere on Mars and Princeton is missing open shots. Not optimistic.

We missed our last 13 3 pt attempts at Dartmouth, and all of them tonight, so that’s pretty awful in addition to all of the turnovers.

Getting crushed on the defensive glass giving up second chance after second chance. That plus the 8-1 run of whistles favoring Princeton have created the deficit.

15 Princeton points this half as a result of offensive rebounds. That’s basically the difference in this game.

I watched 0.0 minutes of this game and that was the right call. I didn’t know what happened until I got alert on my phone of the final, and that saved me a lot of wasted energy and frustration tonight. How sad is it that I had no interest in watching a Penn vs. Princeton game?
So in 2 weeks, it will have been 5 years since the last time Penn beat Princeton. I know because I was in the hospital while my first daughter was being born. Randomly still on my DVR. Who knew we could manage to lose at least the next 9 or 10 games over 5 years.
I looked at the box score, but it doesn’t really matter. Have no interest in watching “lowlights” and have no interest in hearing any excuses. Curious does anyone even interview the coaches any more? Would love to hear what they could possibly have to say.

Sorry one point to clarify, “only” 7 or 8 losses in a row (obviously no season reduced by two). Rest of point remains.
I did find a reporter who asked Coach Donahue a Q after the game “what would you tell the fanbase about the performance tonight?”

Amazing that both Penn men and women lost to Princeton on the same day playing the exact same unwatchable style of basketball. They both had only 5 assists in the game and both coaches relied on the worst looking 'offenses' imaginable: Give the ball to your two best players and let them iso while the rest of the team pretty much stands around and watches. It is not winning basketball, never has been and never will be.

Lack of a true point guard has been a problem for 2 years. They have willing passers but when they face a team that plays good man to man defense they just can't create good shots.
