Great win for Temple, and great for the Big 5.
Temple has a lot of defensive talent. Pretty stunning that Penn beat them.

Good to see our Temple lurker chime in. But a truly great win. Just wonder if you were one of the many on the Temple board to call for McKie's head after the loss to Penn.

Not a Temple lurker, just a Penn fan who misses a nationally competitive Big Five.

And Brown beat Princeton, and Loyola (MD), the 340th team in KP, beat Brown. So Loyola #1.

Scott Van Pelt referred tonight to Temple’s inconsistency, noting that it had some “terrible” losses.

How about #362 Hartford? They beat Fairleigh Dickinson, who beat St. Joe’s, who beat Penn, who beat Temple. So Hartford #1.

We've never beaten a #1 team, so I'm predicting tonight's the night.... even if it's the #1 team only in SomeGuy's poll.

But for those of you more masochistic than I (what can possibly happen tonight other than an expected win or a disaster), there is a link on the Pennathletics website to the Hartford stream since it is not on ESPN+

Or you real fans can be in Hartford like I am. Even convinced mrs SteveChop to travel to the two games this weekend. Got to see our first snow of the winter today. LGQ!

If Dingle stays in the game long enough to score 16 points tonight, he will tie Tony Price for 17th place in all time Penn scoring with 1,322 points. If he continues his current scoring pace he will be in the Top 10 by season's end.

We don't look good so far. Again, the sloppy turnovers.

Our defense has been horrendous tonight. On the plus side, Spinoso has made a couple of nice bounce passes to cutters in the lane for easy hoops.

And now the Quakers are down by 8 with about 11 minutes left in the first half.

SD has Charles, Monroe, Smith, MLL and Laczowski out there.

We're losing 19-13 at the second media time out.

The McMullen audition did not go well.
