Was at the game today. Collins is in regular sneakers and walking normally. Hopefully we’ll see her on the court soon. Unfortunately Matthews is in a boot, so her return is likely farther off. Shorthanded or not, we blew out Loyola from the opening whistle. It’s been a while since we’ve had anything like today’s 26-7 first quarter. I thought our defense was excellent and the threes were dropping. Admittedly, Loyola isn’t very good, but our passing was really crisp, which led to the open three looks. Theodorsson had a great first quarter, and I think she’s going to just get better. Our women have had a tough year, but they play hard and are well coached. Nice to see them have a big win.

The women have generally had good D throughout the year in most games, and that was true again today.....many Loyola possessions were extended and ended with poor shots or turnovers.

The offense has really clicked for the last six quarters...kudos today especially to Isabella King and to Emma S (double double) and all the rest. WTG!!!

It wasn't quite as good, but the Bison did have a 26-10 third quarter vs Navy in the previous game. Would have been 26-7 but Navy hit a three at the buzzer. The team followed up that great quarter with a 20-8 finishing quarter.

In today's game, the Bison won all four quarters, three of them by big margins, which was nice.

From the opening bell, our girls really took it to Loyola, a team they only beat by 5 pts just seventeen days ago in Baltimore!

Trevor had them playing both ends of the court - stout defense and big time hustle down the other end for points, sometimes on absolutely brilliant passing plays!

Here's to Emma S. for inside dominance and to Isabella for that deadly 3pt shot, both finishing with 19pts!

Freshman Emma #2 is coming along nicely and beginning to look every bit the great player she can be, given her pedigree background.
Everybody looked good this afternoon!

Nice win for the girls who, let's hope, are peaking for a rush to the finish line!
