Great win overall. In a game they had to have, they withstand a 13-0 run in the 2nd half and still win by double-digits. Cornell was careless with the ball but Brown had defensive pressure throughout. Great offense by Lilly, Pax and Friday. Looked like a great atmosphere too - Brown had all the energy from the jump. This team is playing like they’re very good.

The defense was fabulous in the first half. They held high scoring Cornell to 24 points over first 20 minutes. And as Martin said during a quick halftime interview, 8 of the points may have been on free throws. The Bears took away the back door passes that often lead to easy baskets for the Big Red. Brown’s offense also excelled and fed off the D. It seemed the Bears were intent on getting Coach Martin the very special victory.
Yes Bruno! Great energy in the building was wonderful to see. The extended league season has lead to many homes games being played while the students are on break. I hope the legue reviews that decision. The coming traditional Penn-Princeton road weekend has never been as pivotal.

I'm a little late, but wanted to salute that effort. Brown is playing very well right now.
