This game gives us a chance to regain
positive momentum heading into the ILT.
We have been missing Austin, but depth will matter more next weekend.
The formula last time was Allocco forcing Dingle
into bad decisions and Tosan creating offense for
himself and everyone else. We did not shoot
particularly well, but still won easily.
Let's get back on track!

One point in Princeton's favor: Penn's current winning streak has only featured one road win of any provenance (@Harvard). They've been home warriors lately, but I suspect things will be a lot tougher in Central Jersey.

Avoid dumb turnovers, get back to dominating the boards, make Dingle work and shut down Slacjert, and all should be well. (Obviously can’t have a terrible shooting game, but just hitting a decent percentage from the floor and the line ought to be good enough if the Tigers can get more attempts.)

Kellman's play is key to reducing turnovers and rebounding superiority. Hope he steps up on Senior night. Is 20 minutes too big an ask? Allocco can contain Dongle if anyone can. Tosan shines against the Quakers. It is his Senior night also. Having said all that, Penn is playing very well and comes in highly motivated. I don't think we can beat them by much. If it's a blowout game it will be the Quakers'.

Interest in this game is as high as for any game in years. A huge crowd us anticipated, although I am not sure if the halftime presence of Red Panda may explain some of the excitement.

Penn offense has diversified since Game 1 and it’s a big factor in their current 8 game win streak.

It should be a big time event--even playing at noon to get that enormous ESPN News audience. We're sitting in Section 206, where the season ticket holders used to sit. I assume, though, now that they put seatbacks in the 100 sections that the season ticket holders sit there? Looking forward to the game!

Yeah, thanks to that early start time I’ll have shpilkes for 6.5 hours until I can make havdala, head directly to ESPN+ Replay Central, hermetically seal myself from any and all indicators of anything else going on in the world, and watch the nahrishkeit from Nassau.

I'm going right to the headlines after havdala and take it all in in one moment.

After Havdalah, you can say El Malei for the Quakers' title chances.

Kellman will be fine if he can stop trying to put the ball on the floor.

It hit me recently how similar his game is to Howie Levy some 38 years ago. Deadly inside shooter if he can get to or near the rim without dribbling. Terrible hands and worse dribbler.

When Austin got hurt at the Palestra, Mitch gave those minutes to Kiszka. (Given how this thread has drifted, I almost wrote Kishke.) I think he's demonstrated he's not the answer. And we know that Peters is not to be trusted on defense. Do they just double up Lee's minutes or roll the dice with Konrad?

For those scoring at home, kishke > shpilkes.

And Howard Levy had more visible chest hair than any other basketball player I saw while in college.

Chest hair, shoulder hair, back hair.

And you wouldn't know it looking at him now, but head hair!

Oh, I knew it would get a chuckle out of you--well aware of what he looks like now.
