Hey everyone, is anyone (like me) waiting for the semifinal outcomes before buying tkts for the final? just wondering what everyone's plans were, also, where do you recommend sitting in Jadwin? is it general admission/first-come, first-served?

thanks.

I am waiting to hear from the Penn Ticket Office (I'm on the list for tickets as a season ticket holder). The seats are not general admission, though. If you buy through the school, you get the first doubleheader and if Penn wins, you get (and pay for) the finals.

The seating chart is on their website--Jadwin. Anything on the sides in the 100 or 200 level is good within the court area. The stands, however, go way out beyond the court. So 207 and beyond is bad. And the 300 level is like the Blue seats in the Garden.

It is a bit rediculous that I have received multiple emails for ILT tickets from Harvard and Yale and nothing from Penn (I am still on their mailing list from ILT's past). If I didn't know better, i would have thought that Penn doesn't care if supporters go. Meanwhile I keep getting emails about Wrestling and I am a Season Ticket holder.

I couldn’t chance being iced out of the Penn section so I bought back when they went on sale. That means I have the Sunday game too. I’m used to sitting behind the Penn bench and they keep losing so maybe sitting on the other side will help.

It's absolutely ridiculous that they have been unable to determine ticket distribution with 2 days to go.

I am a season ticket holder and wasn't aware that there was a lottery for tickets. Great communication AD.

Anyhow, I have tickets for both days section 206.

GO QUAKERS!

They told me I would get tickets as a season ticket holder and that the tickets would be allocated last week, then this Monday, then this Wednesday and still hasn't happened. Obviously, I would have purchased through Princeton if there were any chance I get closed out (because of course they will favor the donors over the 30 year season ticket holders), but hopefully, the growing worry is just a result of their inability to get their act together and nothing else.

Although I'm a season ticket holder, I was told that I was NOT guaranteed ILT tickets, and I should go to the Ivy Madness site and purchase them to ensure I get tickets. So, I have tickets in section 106 for Saturday, which is behind the Princeton bench. I'm hopeful that if Penn wins, someone from Princeton will want to unload a pair of tickets for Sunday's final.

You remember who you talked to? I spoke to a young woman --- no mention of a guarantee either way but was confident I would get tickets. Given the number of seats , donors and season ticket holders, there is something wrong going on if the season ticket holders don't get tickets. But the lack of communication is really bad here.

Well, we checked and were assured that we have tickets---still have not been distributed though.

Glad to hear that. But I wasn't going to take my chances. And I still have not heard back from the Penn ticket office.

Sounds like you got great tickets so you did fine (there are plenty of tickets for Sunday no matter what happens)

And just a little while ago I received a call from the Penn Ticket Office that I got (would have had) my tickets. They were in section 202, one of the sections you mentioned as being beyond the end of the court, so I'm glad I didn't wait. That also will free up a pair of tickets for someone else waiting for a call.

Yeah, that's where I am. Oh well, it's essentially corner of the "end zone", but there are no obstructions to the view. Sunday, I'll get a better seat. : )

I was in section 202 for last Saturday's Penn-Princeton game as my ticket, which was ordered at the beginning of the season through Penn (at the same time as my other Penn away game tickets), was NOT waiting for me at Will Call. And my thought then was the same as yours is now (Next Saturday, I'll get a better seat.).

I think we both can agree that the Ticket Office since Peggy left is a mess.

I thought, incorrectly, that putting my name in through the Ivy Madness website, indicating what school I follow, would put me in position to get tickets in the “Princeton section” but now its not clear to me that the league even reserved tickets in blocks for the teams like they do for the NCAA tournament. I contacted Princeton’s ticket office a couple of weeks ago and they told me to just purchase via the league (which directs you to Princeton’s website.) I did that and bought tickets in a decent section but not as good as if I’d just bought tix when they went on sale. According to the website, all of the chairback seats (100 and 200 level) and the end zone bleachers are sold out for Saturday and almost all of those seats are sold for Sunday too. I hope those of you on this board will stick around for the Final even without your boys playing.

Anyway, the problem may not be your ticket office.
