Re: First Round, Women's NIT 03-13-23 03:08 PM - Post#354077
In response to Stuart Suss
With a few minor exceptions, the home team in the first round has a better NET ranking than its opponent.
The Penn/Richmond winner will play the Rhode Island/Boston U. winner.
The Harvard/Towson winner will play the UMass/Albany winner.
Penn and Harvard would meet in the round of 16 if each team wins two games.
The Columbia/FDU winner will play the Fordham/Drexel winner.
Seton Hall, Syracuse, St. Joseph's or Kent State await Columbia if they advance to the round of 16. Harvard or Penn would be a hypothetical opponent for Columbia in the round of 8.
Dates and locations for subsequent rounds are TBA.
