Dushawn London
Georgetown transfer Denver Anglin has heard from Miami of Ohio, SMU, Old Dominion, UPenn, George Washington, Penn State, LMU
Chattanooga, Northeastern among others sources tell @247Sports.

ThePortalReport also reports Penn reached out to Dom Campbell, a big man from Maine they previously recruited.

Hysier Miller also in the portal.

So is Robby Carmody whom I believe was on our “ but he’s not coming” wishlist.

Yeah, I thought about including him, but he’s a grad transfer and thus not available (I believe?). Garrett Johnson is also transferring, though I assume not within the league. I didn’t see other Penn-connected players (who are not Ivy grad transfers).

Based on post on Temple board from guy close to Philly recruiting and close to Miller, looks unlikely Penn would be on the radar. Combination of “ZERO NIL activity” and no scholarships (but I assumed if he was looking at Penn in high school maybe he had a favorable package).

Would sure be nice if Penn would increase to more than zero NIL activity, lol.

A quality transfer who could get a waiver to play right away would be a welcome addition, but seems unlikely to be Miller.

I mean, now that Abner's is gone, I don't see any NIL possibilities AT ALL.

I believe alot of Penn athletes have NIL deals. Who knows the value though. Personally I don’t understand the value of any college athletes image or likeness with the exception of the top names. I mean what is the value of Miller’s likeness to anyone whether he plays on Temple or Penn. It’s an area I’m not close to understanding.

The value is what the top boosters are willing to pay. That's why Alabama now is a basketball power.

Most refreshing NIL (because it is what the advocates presented to the public, rather than the booster-amplifier it has mostly become) is Wake Forest's Tyree Appleby getting an NIL deal and featured commercials with Applebee's.

Honestly Asia, I have no idea either. Here is what that same guy (works with Philly recruits) said about Khalif Battle from Temple who is in Portal:

Temple NIL # is $5,000

Battle will be offered 20X that amount on the open market...

So, yeah...

Keep an eye on Jack Lieb. The portol is obviously growing and their are a handful of kids I've heard are Ivy interested. With Jordan being a Sr I certainly hope coach explores every opportunity to improve the team

We actively recruited Brandon Leib a couple years ago and then he was offered by Illinois late in the cycle and enrolled there.

As Asia suggested, pretty sure you mean Brandon Lieb, who is Jack's brother. Jack was at Lehigh a number of years ago but had a career cut short by injury. Brandon was at Illinois last 4 years. 6-10 who has become pretty skilled. Chicago based family who played for the same AAU program as a number of IL players (Wojick-Brown, Lesmond-Harvard, Cade Pierce-Princeton, Max R-Penn).

He's a giant--taller than 6 10, if I had to guess.

Honestly, though, from the few times I saw him play in a game at Illinois, he didn't do all that much but the few times that he did the crowd went wild.

We desperately need depth in the post for next year, so that is an intriguing name even if he didn't get a lot of time at Illinois.

If Lieb was at Illinois for the last four years, how does he have eligibility to play in the Ivies? Wouldn't he be close to grad transfer status?
