It'll be airing on TNT @ 6:10pm EST (3:10 PST).
Will the guys have enough left in the tank? Let's limit TOs to <15, dominate the boards and hope Mizzou has an off-night from 3.

40 years ago today, Craig Robinson & co knocked off Oklahoma State 56-53. Let the tradition continue!

During Mitch's pregame interview, he said the #1 priority is protecting the ball. Indeed.
Between Missouri's ability to force TOs and their poor defensive rebounding, we should avoid making high risk/reward passes in favor of putting up contested shots that allow us to crash the offensive glass.

Welp, here we go...
Unless we're up or down 20+ at the half, I'm not getting excited or defeatist by our start.

Under 8 and everything is working as we'd hoped... which is why I'm nervously awaiting a collapse.
Keep it up! Shots will go cold, but make sure the defense never quits.

Mizzou looks like they don't know what to do. If Princeton hit even 1/3 of their treys they'd be up big. Still looking pretty comfortable, and the rebounding advantage is looking exactly like what you would have expected given the stats pre-game.

Langborg having a career game! And Pierce is Dennis Rodman reincarnated.
But Mizzou will make a huge charge... they can't let up.

Up 33-19 with 2:56 left in the first half. Mizzou looks like a boxer taking a standing eight-count. Langborg giving the performance I always imagine/hope he can, and Tosan is a complete mismatch for anyone Missouri throws out there. Kellman playing hard again with a couple of dunks and loud block.

Two late shot-clock scores by Mizzou gives them a 5-0 run at the end of the half. Still a very good first half for Princeton--as long as they don't wear out against the Missouri defensive pressure, what they're doing looks more sustainable than what Mizzou is doing,

We lead 33-26 at the half, but Mizzou ends the first half on a 7-0 run.
Hopefully, that makes our guys come out FIRED UP in the 2nd half. They were getting a little too giddy up 14. Way too early for that.

Again Kellman with only two touches? PU could lob to him on the baseline literally every play but that's not how Mitch's brain works?!

Biggest improvement in the team this year is the improvement in on-ball man-to-man D. Haven't seen PU stay in front of guys this well in a long while, and compared to games against Hofstra, say, earlier in the year, it's like night and day.

I like the shots we are getting and the shots that Mizzou are taking are high-difficulty. They hit some very tough ones to cut the lead at the close of the half. But the Tiger D looks really active as it did against Zona.
Langborg had a career half and we have not heard much from Allocco or Pierce and Tosan is not yet looking for its shot.
Waiting for that “inevitable” run from Mizzou’s studs to close the gap but I like the way Princeton is playing. Poised, confident and taking care of the ball.

Worried about wearing down. Lee and Peters only got 5 minutes combined - Lee in particular seemed overmatched. Only Martini got significant minutes off the bench. Too bad Austin was hurt.

Just keep taking care of the ball and putting up shots - our rebounding advantage is very clear.
But one little note: Twice, we wrangled a tough offensive rebound along the baseline... and turned it over trying to pass it out. A missed momentum-shifter.
If that happens again, we should either call a timeout (now that it's the 2nd half) or try throwing it off a Mizzou defender.

Don't foul the three-point shooter. Grrr.
Mizzou seems not to accept the level of athleticism of the PU players, and it's literally hurting them.
