If Penn wins tonite, Penn moves on. If Southern Mississippi wins, there will be a game on Monday.

Do they expect pitchers arms to be made of rubber? Tonight and tomorrow, if necessary, are not going to be pretty from a pitching perspective.

So many games in such a condensed time period.

Southern Miss needs to beat Penn twice. Penn needs just one win to advance. And Coady is on the hill.

Coady doesn't appear to have it tonight. Could be a short outing.

Coady does not look to be 100%. He’s got to be able to throw his fastball for a strike or it will be a very short outing.

Indeed.

But Coady isn't going to last much longer at this rate.

Seems like Coady is sacrificing serious mileage on his pitches just to make sure they get over.

That was a better inning for Coady. We’ll need more innings like that from him.

Penn caught a big break on that pickoff play. Runner appeared to be out but they didn't really have a conclusive camera angle, ends up scoring.

Yeah, the final loser's bracket game should be the only game on Sunday, and then the championship game or games should both be on Monday. The team making the final through the winner's bracket already has a big enough advantage; the other team should at least have the entire night to recover.

We have the bases loaded in the 4th with one out and have chased the USM starter.

Penn has the best pitching depth in this regional. Even with Coady at 75%. Helps a lot with this schedule.
