Imagine how different the past 23 years might have been had “Dollar Bill” overcome either of the tepid ‘00 and ‘04 Dem nominees in the Primaries and gone onto beat Bush, Jr. for the White House.

Love Bill, although the flat tax turned a lot of people off. Of course, given the massive tax cuts for the uber-wealthy that followed, it probably would have been a better deal for most people.

I like Bradley a lot as well.
My own humble opinion is that he should have sat out 2000 and waited another cycle to run for president. He was never going to knock off the (essential) incumbent Gore, and going forward with the primary challenge just made Gore weaker.
Ted Kennedy made the same mistake in 1980.
Oh well....
