Coach Mike Martin has secured his first recruit for the class of 2024 with Jeremiah Jenkins, a 3-Star player from New Briton, CT. He is a 6’-00” PG who preps at Brewster Academy, and was also recruited by Fairfield, UMass, Wyoming, Vermont, Boston College, and Western Kentucky, among others. His videos show quick, aggressive drives to the hoop, with the ability to also draw and deftly dish. An excellent heir apparent for Lily, Jr, as well someone who should contribute upon his arrival.

The attached article in today’s Providence Journal elaborates on Brown’s new basketball recruit. 247 Sports ranks Jenkins as #24 on their PG list, and the #189 overall prospect.

Love to see a Brown recruit getting this kind of attention. I'm cautiously optimistic that Mike and co. are going to build a great class this year - they had at least two other 3-star guys take official visits earlier this summer. Getting a guy like JJ to start the class only makes it more likely that one of them will join him on College Hill.
