Women's playoff final:
Dartmouth 63, Princeton 48
Congratulations Big Green! Especially since their best player, Elise Morrison, was out almost the whole year with an injury. (And let's not forget that Columbia took the Big Green to overtime on the last weekend.) On the other hand, the future looks bright for Princeton since their go-to player, Meghan Cowher, was just a freshman this season. Next year's race will have a tough time matching this year's, but I expect the league to be closer top-to-bottom.

Cowher's actually a soph. Dartmouth loses three starters, but will be very tough next year. The Big Green will return four players who can be considered starters: Morrison and Sydney Scott (who replaced her in the lineup this year) as well as honorable-mention All-Ivy Ashley Taylor (a starter most of the past two seasons) and Fatima Kamara, who replaced Taylor as a starter in both playoff games and caused both Brown and Princeton headaches with her athleticism.

Oops! You're right about Cowher, of course.
What I remember most about Kamara is her signature move of driving the baseline, going past the basket, then whirling around and putting up a layup. In overtime in the Columbia game, the Lions went out to a four-point lead, but then the whole team seemed to succumb to fatigue at once. Kamara burned them what seemed like three or four times in a row, and just like that Dartmouth was on top. She's going to be tough next year.
