MCL injuries can be tricky. Did he tear it?
I had a pretty bad MCL sprain that didn't require surgery, and it took the better part of a year to rehab. Now, my injury occurred a few months before I turned 60, and the rehab was during the pandemic year, but it healed well and I can actually still play hoops.

I am watching on television the historic debate to oust Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House. This guy Matt Gaetz is poison personified and hopefully will be stamped today as a huge loser. That gets us back to Coach Engles. I understand that unlike Gaetz Engles is not a poisonous person. Yet his won-loss record is horrific and he must be replaced immediately if Columbia is going to have any chance of becoming a winner in the near future.

You're equating (at least in some manner) Gaetz and Engles??

I think he may be alluding to the fact that there will soon be a motion to kick Gaetz out of the House GOP Caucus.

Will somebody for once and for all either confirm or deny the rumor that the Sherwin will has a codicil in which Engles will be paid by the Sherwin estate for so long as Engles chooses to work his magic at Columbia?

Chet, we need to accept the fact that whomever has been calling the shots with regard to the Columbia Basketball Program during the Engles Era either doesn't know what he is doing or doesn't care. What else can it be?

Engles was born under a lucky star, or perhaps divine intervention.

Those two states, not knowing what one is doing, and not caring, are by no means mutually exclusive.

I agree with your very good points.
For the sake of our players and fans, I do hope that someone who knows what he or she is doing and ALSO really cares about the Columbia Men's Basketball Program comes on the scene sooner rather than later. I am also very worried that Coach Bagnoli in his new role as a consultant/mentor may get sucked somehow into this mess.
